Lara Duncan
is an advanced fitness and nutrition practitioner. A veteran of the industry, Lara sits on the Education Committee of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee. Lara is also recognized as a Fitness Specialist for the Mid-South Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Lara holds numerous prestigious certifications, including a Masters Degree in Health Education and a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology. She is certified as a Health Fitness Instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise (ACE-Personal Trainer), and the American Institute of Fitness Educators.

Randy Pendergrass, LSNC

As a licensed sports nutritionist, Randy has served St. Thomas hospital since 1996, specializing in medical nutrition counseling for patients with diabetes, cardiac disease, cancer, and metabolic disorders. Randy says, "As a cancer survivor, I feel that our health is the most important possession we have. If we take care of our bodies, they will take care of us."


Dan DeFigio
is a Certified Sports Nutrition Counselor and a Certified Advanced Sports Nutrition Specialist who specializes in weight management and nutrition supplement science. Kandice King
received a degree in Nutrition from University of Tennessee at Knoxville in May 1998. Since that time she has worked as a nutrition clinician at Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee.
